The county court convened at 1 30 p m to review options for tenant pay ceit and farm operations. The discussion centered on cooperation among owners and renters to develop farms and increase profits through careful management and union forming.

Good Hope High School faced student uproar after a dispute with Superintendent Wesley Bugg over how to determine who vandalized desks. Most pupils reportedly left school, then returned after pressure from officials. the School Board met twice this week with no official action.

Governor Len Small angrily demanded an immediate trial and blasted Sangamon county officials for delaying moving the record to Lake county for the case against him.
