American Legion box exhibition fundraising in Macomb

Tile Drainage Plan for Emmet Township Road

About 2 000 feet of six inch tiles will be laid along the road parallel to the Madcomb Good Slope road a mile west to drain surplus water away from the highway. Five Die In Burning Pullman Car Near Pigeblo

Five persons were burned to death when a Pullman of the Denver Rio Grand caught fire near Pigeblo at 2 a m. Seven were asleep. two escaped by jumping from windows with minor injuries. The origin of the blaze remains undetermined and the train was running at about twenty miles per hour.
