Phosphate Problems To Be Discussed At July Meeting
J. R. Brent state director of the Phosphate and Limestone Department of the Illinois Agricultural Association will speak Wednesday July 14 at 11 p.m. in the Commercial Association rooms. He will discuss phosphate and limestone handling, storage shed and bin structure, and financing methods. The County Farm Bureau sponsors an open meeting for McDonough county farmers with presence expected from adjoining counties. The association operates offices at Columbia Tennessee where phosphate and limestone are mined and Illinois farmer orders are inspected before shipment. samples are analyzed in the association laboratories.
