Glars entered the ToneKing store in Bethel township Birmingham and stole cash and merchandise valued around 40 to 50 dollars. Bloodhounds traced a trail to a neighbor's home, drawing crowd interest as investigators followed leads.
A fire started by sparks on a shingle roof at the P. D. B. residence on West Carroll caused $100 damage. Water suppression limited flames but smoke and water damaged a closet and paper upstairs. Firemen arrived promptly and extinguished the blaze with efforts continuing in the attic.
In a Tuesday Yolncation meeting, Miss Harkness of Evanston resigned, effective March 1. The Macom TM ol notes the resignation and a brief welcome to visiting and local residents. Mrs. Harry Wells of Chattanooga arrived for a visit with her sister-in-law, Mrs. J. A. Karsten of West Adams Street.
The Red Cross opens a new Home Hygiene and Care of the Sick class on Monday February 21 at 7 30 p m in the Union National Bank Macomb and vicinity women are invited. The course aims to teach personal hygiene household sanitation illness prevention and basic nursing procedures for caring for family members and following physician orders.
Alex McQuistan of Scotland township is hospitalized after a horse kicked him in the chin the lower jaw fractured on both sides and most of his teeth were knocked out. He rode home to fetch help then went to Holmes Hospital for treatment. Dr Parry resumes practice after military service. A birth notice reports a daughter born to Mr and Mrs Wheeler Fawcett Table Grove, formerly Ruth Johns.

They urge a fair appointee and cite high refund rates by mutuals to explain the attack. Nearby, two Parma Heights teachers Miss Lois Wolfe and Miss Mebel Foote were found beaten to death, with a bloody timber and torn clothing, as farmers search for two suspects.
Democratic Senators backing the house emergency tariff bill were invited by Senator Reed of Missouri to sit with the Republicans in the rear. He derided the measure as a buccaneering expedition and called the act a robbery, accusing fellow Democrats of backing it for a share of the swag.

A Wisconsin bill proposed in the assembly would require single men aged 31 to 35 to pay $10 annually to support state schools. Men who have divorced or whose wives died within two years would be exempt from the tax.
A blaze started at 10:30 this morning in the lumber yard of the Fennimore Lumber Co. ending a fire that threatened a large portion of Fennimore's business district. The Wisconsin town has about 3,500 residents and lies roughly 25 miles from Platteville.

Seven Battle Creek Sanatorium employees have died from suspected botulinus poisoning linked to preserved spinach. State Food and Drug Commissioner Fred L. Woodworth announced the findings in Lansing on February 16.
