Mr and Mrs L E B Evans of West Washington Street celebrate their nineteenth wedding anniversary today. The occasion was observed quietly with only family members present.

The Good Hope Reflector will print its first issue Thursday under Roseville Limes-Citizen management and circulate in Good Hope. The Roseville press may move to Good Hope later with a new press planned for the Roseville plant. Milley of the city assists in the Reflector office at Good Hope.

Canton February 14 Jerry Harn a young lawyer from Galesburg born in Fulton county has decided to run for the Republican nomination to represent this district. He studied at the University of Illinois was admitted to the bar in 1920 and practices with Moreh and Rice in Galesburg. Dr L Beatty of Fairview away from filing tax returns says he is a candidate for Representative from the 43rd district and will file later.
Fifty Macomb boy scouts and their fathers were entertained at the First Presbyterian church hosted by J. C. Burns Bible class. Informal speeches followed by troop one demonstrating field work, with the Scout play "A Strenuous Afternoon in a Scout Camp" on the program.
The Macomb Sewer Pipe works will reopen its west plant next Monday with 70 to 75 old employees back at work. The company plans to resume all manufacturing and may retrofit kilns to burn oil instead of coal, depending on further tests and fuel availability.
Mey Attend School Sert Mullen and Howard Bus from this city depart tonight for Davenport Iowa to tour Palmer Chiropractic and consider entering the institution in May.
Mrs. O. P. Woodworth hosted the Five Hundred club with four tables yesterday afternoon. Deli cious refreshments were served.
About 300 signatures gathered for petitions asking the city council to allow voters to decide by ballot on continuance or abolition of the Macomb city court. County Clerk John G. Norton declined to sign. Petitions circulated mainly in the business district by John A. Miner and Quincy Train Line. most signers favor abolishing the court.
The children of Logan School ward three subscribe their full quota of sixty dollars for an orphan in the Near East. Under Miss Grace Terrill’s direction the campaign ran several weeks with popcorn ball sales on Saturdays. Credits go to students and parents for generosity and self denial.
