Springfield Dec 24 The State Public Utilities Commission suspended the proposed local passenger fare increase by the M I L R R until April 19 1921. The commission had granted the request to advance fares effective December 20 but ordered suspension until the later date. Miss Ethel M. Vail and Jesse McBride, both residents of the city, united in marriage last evening at 8 30 at the bride's parents home on South Lafayette Street. The Rev. A L Cole officiated as Mendelssohn’s wedding march played by groom’s niece accompanied the single ring ceremony. The groom, son of the late Mr and Mrs P S McBride, has spent most of his life here and works in railroad duties with headquarters in Colshune. They will reside at home February 1.
