Deaths notice for Henry McCance and Nancy Ellen Price
Henry McCance died Saturday night from a stroke of paralysis suffered three weeks earlier. He passed at the home of Mrs. Mary Hinderliter where he boarded near Smithfield and was a former farmer near Checktow east of Bushnell. A Civil War veteran, he is survived by several children and was well known in Bushnell and the surrounding area. Nancy Ellen Price died Tuesday evening in Prairie City from a stroke of paralysis suffered last week. She had long resided in Prairie City and was 73 years, 10 months and 11 days old. Funeral services were held Thursday at 3 PM at the M E B church with cemetery burial at Prairie City.
