The district reports strong harvest progress with rain delaying threshing Sunday then resuming. Displayed are farm yields: Norman Thompson 25 bushels wheat per acre and 78 oats per acre. Dios Walls 29 wheat per acre. Josiah Scot 22 bushels. Alex Motil north of Austin 26 oats per acre. John Alton 11 oats per acre among others.
