Rev A Chisholm of She Man preached at St Cuthbert’s. former minister visited. Rev A J Warwick of M Gregor now of St Andrew’s Man regrets missing a stopover on return from Vancouver. Harvest Home Thanksgiving Observed at St. G Services Church
Harvest celebrations were held at St. G Services Church with community gathering and thanks given for the harvest. Local attendees included church members and neighbors sharing a meal and fellowship after the service.
Sermon at Scaripes Church Draws Warm Attendance
On Sunday Rev J C Learden preached a capable sermon in the morning and evening. The church was tastefully decorated with wheat oats vegetables fruit and flowers prepared by the ladies. Special by the choir and the church was well filled for a very successful service.
Vote on Church Union in Canada Presbyterian meeting
Toronto Sept 2 ballots are prepared to decide on church union with Methodists and Congregations. The Presbyterian family in Canada will receive a sixteen page history of negotiations. Ten thousand blue ballots for elders and ten thousand white ballots for members plus sixty thousand red ballots for adherents are planned.
