Second Masonic District Meeting Held at Wellwood
The Second Masonic District met October 3 at Wellwood Masonic Hall with all ten lodges represented despite DDGM S L Reidle illness. Grand Master A J Sawatzky addressed the assembly, 138 attended a banquet, and toasts were offered to the Grand Master, the Craft, the ladies, and the YWA.

Two candidates for the ministry were received at the Portage la Prairie Presbytery fall meetings in Neepawa October 14. The Foresters bingo night raised funds for the Foresters benevolent fund with about 90 attendees and prizes from three to ten dollars.
