Agricultural Museum Notes Recap of Work and Meeting
The report covers house renovations with basement work nearly finished, external additions to the north, and ongoing interior work despite cold weather. Gratitude is extended to Swales brothers and others who aided. The annual meeting in Austin saw Gordon Mandell elected director, with re-elected members Don Milne Albert Birney and Dave McKeand. McKeand named president, George Down vice president, and Joe Phelps of the Western Development Museum gave a valuable talk. Visitors continue, weather slows activity, and the note ends with a CP dispatch about a $1,000,000 low rental housing project in Prince George planned with federal provincial and civil government cost sharing.
