Death of Alexander Green of Beaver
Friends in Beaver and nearby districts mourn the death of Alexander Green who passed away November 6 at Portage la Prairie Hospital after about six weeks ill. Born in Buckie Berkshire Scotland on June 12 1840s, he came to Canada in 1890 and lived in Beaver district since. Survived by two brothers John Green of Beaver and W Creen of Agassiz BC. Funeral Sunday at Beaver Presbyterian now United Church with Rev R McLeod. interment Beaver cemetery. Pallbearers and floral tributes listed.

Beaver Pioneer Called to Rest in Beaver District
Mrs. Sarah Jane Graham, wife of Thos F Graham, died in Winnipeg on Nov 8 while visiting a daughter. Born Dec 6, 1806 in Haliburton Ontario, she moved to Beaver in 1680 and married in 1885. Survived by five sons and five daughters, twenty seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral held at Beaver United Church with large attendance and tributes noting her service and character. interment in Beaver cemetery.
