Canada faces no US restriction on cattle imports
Agriculture Minister Harry Hays said Canada has received no indication the United States plans to restrict Canadian cattle imports. He noted Canada’s Charolais import from France was approved after consultations with US animal health authorities, while US border states may act independently if concerns persist. Cattle would be quarantined for months on Grossele in the St Lawrence River before owners receive them.

Butter Price Stabilization Board Sets New Price
