Portage City Hall hosts Central Plains Inc meeting
The gathering approved auditors Thorne Gunn Helliwell and Christianson, renting a vacant Portage city hall office for 50 dollars monthly as a temporary measure. Bruce Miller named Central Plains Inc solicitor, with monthly meetings on the last Wednesday in rotating municipalities. Art Comes named ex officio director as district agricultural rep, and priorities include vegetable growing data, hunting and fishing resorts feasibility, agricultural development briefs, and senior housing hostel study. MacGregor and North Norfolk representatives Glen Hotel, Reeve Charles Hotel, B. J. Nichol, and A. M. Hay attended.
