Debate on plumbers vs poets at Masonic Hall

Passing of Mr James Pogue Pioneer Farmer
The community laments the death of James Pogue born in Omeemee Ontario on July 20 1861 who died after a paralytic stroke at his MacGregor area home on March 11. He immigrated to Manitoba in 1887 with his parents and filed a sturdy homestead southeast of MacGregor. He leaves wife Elsie M Irwin two MacGregor children and several siblings with many grandchildren and friends offering condolences at a large funeral service led by Rev S R McLeod.
