Goth ic Lodge No 75 AF and AM held its annual At Home in Foresters Hall on Tuesday evening. Nearly one hundred members with wives sweethearts and children attended. Whist winners were Mrs R Hay and Bro R R Wright with Miss Goulding and Bruce Hay placing at the other end. Participants included Mrs D Smith Mrs R Burns Messrs M Walker W W Bro H F Johejs RW Bro Geo Camisell W Bro R Hall RW Bro J A Beattie with Leon Hubble as accompanist. A feature was W Bro A Morris picture show A Trip Through the Rockies and a comic reel. Thanks were given to Messrs M Walker L Hubble for dance music. A lunch by Mrs Speed followed and the evening closed around one a clock.

The North Norfolk Council met at MacGregor on a Wednesday with Reeve Campbell presiding. Councillor Henry reported a committee found only flood times affected Manns land. McIntyre Duff and the Reeve inspected road options north and south of Sec 31-10-11, concluding the north side would serve most ratepayers, and the council resolved itself into session.
