Wheat Pool Interim Payments To Prairie Members
First interim payments were issued this week to three prairie wheat pools. About 191,000 cheques were mailed totaling roughly 37,000 dollars. Payments included 20 cents per bushel for all wheat grades, 6 cents for oats and barley, 15 cents for flax, and 10 cents for rye. A Fort William store table lists payments made to date by grade.
