Kozy Korner a hub for Portage la Prairie seniors
Portage la Prairie residents run Kozy Korner a drop in centre funded by New Horizons grants totaling 14370 over 36 months. Since opening in 1973 the centre moved to Saskatchewan Avenue East and now rents in the Eaton Building hosting weekly bus services bingo crafts raffles and a seniors choir and lawn bowling club. About 100 regulars attend daily average around 40.
