Argyll House project gains approval for personal care unit
Frank Sims says after lengthy talks with the Manitoba Health Services Commission the Argyll House plan proceeds. Architects are authorized to implement structural changes. A 15 bed personal care home will attach to the hospital with potential future expansions. Beds reflect district needs as seniors rise. Three local senior citizen homes lack such care and several beds are presently filled by residents needing personal care. Architects Ferguson and associates in Winnipeg are at the line drawing stage. Discussions will cover kitchen and laundromat location.
