50 000 Die At Every Nuclear Test, Says Chisholm
Dr Brock Chisholm former head of the World Health Organization in Victoria warns in Westminster that each nuclear test could kill about 50 000 people. He explains radiation effects are delayed and often show as leukemia. He supports stopping tests but doubts a nuclear war will occur, noting generals fear a new war yet no military plan can shield the continent.
