Rural tales mix with road safety and old senate talk
A chatty rural skip through 1930s life mentions a wood for sale, a church handout, farmers branching into machinery brands, seed rush, and a CPR reservoir project. A Sydney class writes a highway safety essay lampooning a drinker father. An amusing horse speed quip follows, then a note on the old senate’s lively debate and a forecast of warmer weather.
