Jubilee Fair at MacGregor Draws Record Entries Despite Rain
The 50th Jubilee Fair of the North Norfolk and District Agricultural Society at MacGregor on July 15 drew 1125 entries and larger gate receipts. Hon. Douglas L. Campbell opened the event, noting fairs boost farm conditions. Horses dominated entries. notable winners included Humeston Bros and G. S. Thompson. Cattle, swine, and poultry entries were modest. hall exhibits featured ladies work and vegetables. The Brandon Boys' Pipe Band entertained, while dampness curtailed baseball and softball, ending play after three games.
