53rd Annual Exhibition Highlights at MacGregor Fair
The North Norfolk and District Agricultural Society’s 53rd Fair in MacGregor drew over 1,200 gate admissions with bright, warm weather followed by a shower. Hon. D. L. Campbell praised the Directors while noting strong livestock and farm produce exhibits. Prize winners covered cattle, horses, poultry, and dairy entries, with standout Belgian, Clydesdale, Aberdeen Angus, Jersey, and Short horn classes. The event showcased machinery rows, crafts, a lively baseball tournament, a dance, and a film show, concluding with a record-setting display of sheaf grasses and canning exhibits.
