Canadian North West land rules outline male settlers over 19 may homestead a quarter section in Moeba Saskatchewan or Alberta. Applicants must appear at the Dominion Lands Agency or district sub office. homesteaders can settle up to ten miles from home farm with at least 80 acres. Residence required. six months per year for three years, with 50 acres cultivated and a house valued at 300 dollars. Price eight dollars per acre. land may be reduced for rough terrain.
