MacGregor 4-H Girls Begin in 1948 to 1965 Prospects
The MacGregor Homemaking Club traces its start in 1948 to Mrs. W. C. Trinder and Mrs. C. Brown, originally MacGregor Thimble Fumblers. It grew from 17 to 39 members, expanded projects, and embraced co education with boys’ entries. The group has active leaders, demonstrations, fairs, and awards, including six gold watches and state fair qualifications. Junior leaders support judging, hosting, and committees, with a focus on service and personal development as they look to bigger goals in 1965.
