Red Cross Officers Elected as Austin-Hill Branch Reports
At the annual meeting of the local Canadian Red Cross branch in Austin and Light Hill, officers were elected including President Fred J. Hall and Secretary Ernest Routledge. The Women's Work committee reported 672 items sent to headquarters, and the treasurer noted 20880 dollars raised, with donations from Austin schools and districts. The Light Hill group also reported a successful year raising 149.78 dollars and elected new officers including Mrs. Gilmour and Mrs. A. Raven.
