Mr H A Lye and Mr R Milburn of MacGregor with Mr C Rendall and Mr A Hill of Austin attended the Brandon Synod on February 13 to elect a new bishop for the Diocese of Brandon. The annual Ladies Bonspiel at MacGregor concluded with a record entry of twenty eight rinks. Winners in two main events included Mrs. Nichol and Mrs. Haid in the Grand Challenge and Mrs. Hay, Miss Muirhead, Mrs. Snaith, and others in the Aggregate. A banquet followed with performances by local club members and a guest of honor, Mrs. R. D. Muir.
