New Gold Rank Badges For Mid Year Green Uniforms
New gold colored rank badges for sergeants and below will be worn with the first issues of the green uniform this mid year. The maple leaf sits above rank chevrons in one piece, with sergeants receiving three hooks beneath the leaf and master corporals two hooks. Corporals gain one hook under the leaf, privates wear only the leaf for career soldiers, and the badges are machine embroidered in bright gold. A monthly kit supply of 3,000 is planned to fit the whole force, with interim master corporal badges under review.
