They toured Lions Gate Bridge Prospect Point English Bay and Victoria including the Butchart Gardens Wax Museum Thunderbird Park and Anne Hathaway's cottage. The trip featured a Tsawwassen to Vancouver Island ferry ride, a University of BC campus view, Little Mountain Arboretum, and plans for Redwoods Forest. The group noted a smoky skyline from northern fires and spent $16,413,900 in retail stores last year. Norwegian police reported 4,619 car thefts last year, up 48 percent from 1959, while jet travel proved practical for the trip and children enjoyed unloading at airports.
