Mr and Mrs Thompson Honored by District Friends
In Katrime Hall August 17 friends from Beaver Pathead and Katrime districts honored Mr and Mrs Norman Thompson as they relocate their farm to their son Steve and depart the district. Whist prizes went to Mrs K Anderson and Ross Thompson and Mrs Butterfield and F McLachlan. The couple received wrist watches and thanked guests before a dance and a trip they will take to British Columbia and the United States.

Doreen and Georgine Baxter of Neepawa visiting grandfather and relatives. Allan Rudolph and child from Calgary arrived for a holiday with the Irwin family. T F Graham returned from Quill Lake with Mrs Arthur Graham. Mrs A E Shaw of Winnipeg visited and left Portage for Edmonton where Mr Shaw is oil company manager.
