Harold Thomas suffered a painful accident Saturday night when one of his horses kicked him on the right leg between the knee and thigh while returning from the harvest field. No bones were broken and he is valued to recover.
Harry Gale of Victoria British Columbia is back in Austin tending to farm interests during threshing. Mr and Mrs John Hay have returned home from three months in Scotland. A new lighting system will be dedicated at Christ Church Austin on Sunday August 26 at 7 30 pm. Miss Anne Hamilton arrived from Scotland staying with her sister Mrs James Gilmour for three months. A Blaine awaits another Winnipeg operation. Kends hopes for his quick return home improved health. Bessie Leckie continues to progress well in Portage Hospital after an operation. Mrs John Leppington and Mrs Otto Nelson with children returned last Monday from a month in Wm Mackinson Booth farm man injured threshing Saturday leg fractured Portage Hospital. Trevor Poyser enjoyed a visit from brother Rev Manford Gutzke and family on two weeks holiday from Dallas Texas now en route to Manitoba. The Rev Mr Gutzke former minister of St John’s Winnipeg conducted service there last Sunjar. They are now visiting at Morden this week.
