The town schedules a North Norfolk Council meeting in MacGregor on Wednesday the 22nd Mel. MacDonald is holidaying at Clear Lake. LUBA will meet in the United Church hall next Sunday at 11 am. Mr. S E Burch of Wellwood conducts the session. Several residents and visitors including Mr. and Mrs. J Peterson and Miss Phyllis Peterson of Winnipeg visit. The St Paul’s W A tea is planned for Aug 23 at Mrs C F Kitson’s home. A long list notes new paint jobs, travels, teaching posts, and a memorial presentation for Mr E F Rattray who leaves for Montreal. The Rev E J Springett will speak Aug 23 at 8:30 pm on World conditions and the Bible. The Red River Ramblers provide music for a dance at the local rink on Friday.
