John Payne aged 82 formerly of Katrime died in Brandon Hospital. He lived in the Katrime district for 67 years, born in England, came to Canada as a immigrant Gy, retired from farming 13 years ago. Survived by three daughters and three sons including Mrs L Bellfrey, Dorothy, Grace, James in RCAF Comox, Thomas and Morris of Vancouver. Funeral Aug th at 4 pm Katrime Community Hall with Rev Welsh. burial in Katrime cemetery. McMaster Funeral Home in charge.
