Welcome Home From Overseas
Canadian communities welcome returning servicemen Eddie Muirhead and others arriving home from overseas. Muirhead, a wireless gunner with RCA, served since 1944 and saw action over Germany. Jim Pepper, a wireless mechanic in the RCAF, returned after about fifteen months overseas. Wes Towle, en route from Winnipeg, served with PPC L I, Royal Winnipeg Rifles, and West Nova Scotia Regiment with service in Italy France and Germany. Signalmen Geo McDougall and Geo Turner also arrived in Winnipeg.
