Municipal Council Meeting at Austin in August
The Municipal Council met at Austin on Thursday August 4 with all members present. The Reeve chaired as minutes were read, sympathy extended to Mr Duncan for his loss, finances reviewed, and several communications discussed including road matters, school district reforms, and a portage hospital admission. By laws on borrowing and treasurers’ duties were read thrice and adopted, and expenses for the Winnipeg Good Roads Convention approved.
