Crops in Local District Need Rain to Mature
Rain is needed soon across MacGregor and surrounding districts as spotty rainfall and aphid damage depress yields. Early crops head short, flax and rapeseed are undersized, rye varies, and pastures require moisture while some parley has been plowed. In Katrime-Beaver, showers last week gave brief relief but more moisture is essential for heads to fill.
