The Manitoba Agricultural Credit Corporation boosted loan rates this week. For farmers over 35 the rate is 7 percent, up from 6 percent, and younger farmers face 6 percent for five years then 7 1/4 percent. The old rates were 4 percent for five years then 6 1/4 percent.
