The Lynden County Fair opens Thursday and Friday October 6 with special trains on regional lines. W. H. Waples leads the amusement lineup and a 60 yard dash pits Lynden ace John Dickerson against pro Harndon of Ferndale for 100 dollars. Horse racing and stock displays are planned, with word that the horse Snip may compete as he recovers.
