Lynden Council Shrinks City Tax Levy
Lynden city council cut the tax levy to 20 mills from 21 and trimmed the budget to keep the levy below last year. Condensaries Cut Milk Price on October First
The condenseries reduced the price paid for raw milk by 40 cents per 160 pounds on October 1, now at $2.50. Butter prices fell six cents from the first, while dairymen receive the equivalent of $2.60 per 100 pounds of milk after the drop, plus skim milk.
