Holland Churches Plan Mission Day at Fair Grounds
Holland churches unite for a mission day on Saturday August 14 at the Fair Grounds starting 10 a.m. The Lynden Reformed Churches host a program with band music scripture reading prayers sermons and talks on inland and Jewish missions including China and women in China. An afternoon session continues with more music prayers and messages and a collection for the mission.

Dairy Industry Report Shows State Self Sufficient in All But Cheese
The 1915 year ending June 30 reports indicate the state produces all dairy products except cheese to meet local demand. Dr H Dr Graves commissioner of agriculture notes cheese imports remain necessary. A 20 month report valued total dairy manufacture at 20625800 with cheese products at 1011540.
State agency uses 25,000 for tuberculosis cattle program
Under the new law the state will test about 15,000 cattle with a 25,000 appropriation. Of 1,786 cows tested, 147 have reacted and been condemned. The average payment to owners is 20.23 per head. actors are appraised then slaughtered with proceeds offset to a maximum of 35.

Lynden Merchants Fall Short in Price Comparisons
H Rosenzweig, former Trib une editor from Grant Orchards Washington, reports Lynden merchants charged higher prices than Lynden stores for sugar.
