Two Children Die in Andrews Crash

A two-vehicle crash about 5 40 p m Wednesday near Andrews left two children dead and the parents and a man from Kermit seriously injured. Authorities said the collision occurred 15 miles west of Andrews at the FM 181 9271 junction.

Wreck Leaves Drake Family Dead. Others Hurt In Area Collisions

At least three crashes east of Andrews left two dead the Drake couple and their infant son with several others injured. In the fatal collision on FM 2971 the Drakes were in a 1963 car. Mallow in a 1963 auto also involved. Earlier, three more people were hurt in a separate crash near Andrews. A bicycle collision with a car injured Connie Ferguson. The second incident involved Clara Bostick in Andrews. The Texas Teachers Association plans a $3 monthly pay raise request in the upcoming session.

Mahon Attacks GOP Curbs on Tax Bill Vote
