PFC Vergara Killed in Vietnam En Route to Home
PFC Vergara 48 was killed in action in Vietnam at 8:35 p m Tuesday September 36. He enlisted in the U S Army March 24 1968 and began duty March 1 this year. He moved to Lubbock with his family from Anton in 1962. Survivors include wife Juanita Vergara and son Eliseo plus six siblings. Funeral services are pending in Rebstown.
