A 19 year old Mexican American man was questioned on a traffic warrant Friday as police investigate a hit and run that killed Linda Flanagan 18 of Odessa near University Avenue and Amherst Street. Paul Carson 19 was injured in the same crash.
Henry Kissinger defended wiretaps on some National Security Council staffers and declined to reveal details to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He said 17 staff members were under surveillance and promised no executive privilege in testifying about his security role, while noting past FBI and Justice input on surveillance methods.
