Near Lamesa Farm Mishap Claims Dallas Girl Life
A six year old Dallas girl, Carolyn Rae Massey, died Friday night after a farm accident on the Walter H. Truitt farm twelve miles east of Lamesa. She was playing on a cultivator when she slipped and was struck by its attachments, dying en route to Medical Arts Hospital. She lived in Dallas with her parents Roy R. and the late Mrs. Massey and leaves two sisters Sandra and Judy and a brother Roy Jr. The body will be returned to Dallas for services and burial.

His daughter Patricia 16 was badly hurt after being knocked from her perch 20 feet above ground.
