Eddy County gas discovery nets 300000 cu ft daily
A canyon gas condensate discovery completed one mile southeast of Carlsbad in Eddy County by Morris R. Antweil. No. 1 Randall perforations from 9,930 to 9,947 feet flowed 300000 cubic feet of gas and 60 barrels of 50 gravity condensate in 24 hours, with 3000 gallons of acid used for stimulation. Drillsite coordinates and nearby fields noted.
