One Dead In Plane Crash West Of Levelland
A Piper Cub two place plane crashed six miles west of Levelland killing Roy Lee Robertson 27 of Seagraves and injuring his passenger Charlie Lauderdale 32 of Levelland and B L Robertson 48 of Seagraves. Both injured men were said to be in Phillips Dupree hospital with serious burns. the elder Robertson suffered minor burns. A separate missing plane with four aboard was being searched for. the Levelland crash is not linked to that incident.

Seagraves farmer Floyd E. Schooler, 42, was killed instantly in a two vehicle crash on State Highway 328 about three and a half miles west of Welch near Lamesa. Truck driver Hart Collin, an adjoining note, suffered a fractured rib while Schooler’s car was described as demolished. State Patrolmen investigated and Schooler’s body was taken to the local funeral home.

Seven Hurt In Two Saturday Night Traffic Accidents
