Red Rocket Chief Nedelin Killed in Air Accident

Forty members of Lubbock's Project Good Neighbors crossed the Rio Grande Sunday to Ciudad Acuna Mexico. They traveled 700 miles without food, endured rain and mud, and met crowds as they presented a goodwill mission to foster friendship between Mexican citizens and Americans. The delegation toured the town after arriving Sunday night and observed its painted buildings and quiet streets as presidents Eisenhower and Lopez Mateos were expected to visit.

Shivers to Speak at Republican Luncheon Today
