Miss Catheryn Laurice Brotherton and Clifford Wayne Moseley wed Oct. 1 at the Church of Christ in Lockney. The bride, attended by Pearl Julian and Susan Brazelease, with Kenneth Moseley as best man, plans residence at Canyon while both attend West Texas State University.
Lambda Tata Chapter Beta Sigma Phi hosted a freak out costume party at Candyland Party House with 24 members and husbands attending. First place went to Mrv and Mel Bryan Gregory. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Alex Stapleton and others as social hosts planned upcoming meetings.
More than 700 Future Homemakers of America members from 14 chapters in Lubbock will be initiated at 7 30 p m today in Estacado High School auditorium. Vicki Davis Roosevelt area IT FHA president will be guest speaker. Betty Scott Dunbar chapter president will give the welcome and introduce the speaker.

The Over-There Wives Club will elect new officers at 7 30 p m Friday during a meeting at the Mathis Service Club Reese AFB. Members will discuss recent Hawaii trips. Linda Alexander, daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert D Alexander, Rt 4, won in the Pop Teen fashion sewing contest at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas. The Lubbock contestant took first in the pron division and fourth in the datetime dress division. She is a Cooper High School senior. Women’s Cotton Promotion Assn of Lubbock County will hold a membership coffee 9 11 a m Wednesday in the Teddy Room of the Southwestern Public Service building in Monterey Center. Open to all women in Lubbock County interested in promoting cotton. Dues are one dollar.
