Three Die In Rail Collision At Rolling Prairie Indiana

A high speed freight train derailment near Rolling Prairie Indiana killed three crew members and injured another as two York Central freights collided at 70 mph. The lead locomotive crew, Dan Calveyhouse engineer WoodY Hill fireman J W Graver brakeman all of Elkhart perished. Fire and rescue crews battled a blaze as damaged grain elevator and surrounding property suffered extensive damage. Authorities estimate total losses could exceed several million dollars.

Munitions Runners Nabbed At Border En Route to Mexico

Customs agents seized over 125000 rounds destined for interior Mexico and nine automobiles, arresting six people including two Americans.
