Alaska oil find could shift US energy fortunes
A Chase National Bank study warns a major Alaska discovery may redirect global capital from other regions to the Arctic slope. It argues the result could reverse a long decline in US oil reserves and help maintain self-sufficiency, though requires much higher exploration spending and faces policy and price constraints. The report notes uncertainty about the Arctic find and its broader impact. AMMAN-Jordan plans to send medicine to Vietnam.
